Recognizing you deserve to be happy, and finding help to get there...

We are all faced at various times with challenges in our lives. Often there's pressure or strain in our personal relationships. Perhaps it's suddenly appeared, or maybe it was there for years before you chose to recognize it. Just like everything else, relationships require work, and I am experienced in bringing couples back together, in close, loving relationships. Or, if too many changes have occurred and there's a desire to move forward on separate paths, we can help you make the transition with dignity, empathy, awareness, and self-care, also.

Phone / Skype Sessions Are Available!

Often, you may find you have a need to begin or continue work with me on a particularly challenging area of your life, but your work schedule, or your geographical location, make it very difficult to find time for a face-to-face appointment.

I am pleased to offer phone sessions as a way to meet your particular needs, in a way that does not depend on work schedules, distance, or weather. These kinds of challenges may prevent you from physically getting to our offices, but phone sessions overcome these obstacles and allow you to get you the support and guidance you need to stay on track with reaching your personal goals.

Your personal growth can continue, whether it's raining, snowing, or you're 1,000 miles away! Let's work this unique and effective tool into your program.

Hypnotherapy, a safe and effective way to help!

Our subconscious mind holds our most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us. It also holds our imagination, emotions, memories, our automatic body responses, and habit patterns.

These deeply held beliefs and patterns drive our decisions and shape our lives as well as the quality of our perceptions. If we want to make a positive, lasting change in our lives, it is these subconscious patterns that we must change.

With modern hypnotherapy the client and Hypnotherapist interact and work together in a collaborative effort, using a pleasant and naturally occurring phenomena labelled as "trance" (similar to what everyone experiences when awakening from a good night's sleep) to bring about changes that the client has identified as desirable, as well as to bring about lasting improvement in the client's quality of life.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a pleasant, natural state of the human mind which involves focused attention: concentration on an object, or an idea, or an activity, with full involvement while attention to anything else is temporarily suspended. We already often experience this "trance-like" state in our day to day lives, for example: becoming totally involved reading a boook or watching a movie or a sports game, waking shortly before an alarm clock on a significant day, driving on a familiar route and noticing you can't quite remember part of the journey, daydreaming, hearing a song or noticing a smell or which takes you back in time reminding you of an event which has been stored in your memory. Hypnosis is a state of mind where one can focus on an idea, an aspect of one's life, a dilemma or a challenge. It is used by corporate management as well as sports people for motivation, by public speakers and politicians to captivate their audiences, in advertising to attract you to certain ideas, and by many therapists to effectively change or improve many aspects of people's lives.

How Does Hypnotherapy it Work?

Simply put, it is therapy under hypnosis. During hypnosis, the conscious mind and body are in a natural, relaxed state, while the subconscious mind remains awake and receptive to suggestion. Hypnosis is combined process of both communication and education aimed at a person's mind which allows his/her conscious and subconscious minds to believe the same message. Hypnotic suggestions bypass the intellectual mind (also called the "conscious"), and zero in on the subconscious. A new suggestion that is within the bounds of a person's belief system and moral orientation is accepted by the subconscious mind, literally as a new reality. Every human being has a latent ability within to re-program emotional attitudes and reactions. Hypnosis is the most reasonable and functional way to create new patterns, build new behaviors, and find alternate ways of dealing with situations, thereby enforcing positive changes and restoring well-being of mind and body.
